Notes from Day 79 - Grocery Shopping

Dear Sweetie,

Thank you for going to the grocery store.

What I'm wondering though is, if possible, you can somehow limit your creativity to items that youdecide to purchase. I admire you, I applaud your sense of adventure. I adore that you like to cook, I am full to the brim with joy that you embrace the domestic - no one could ask for a better sweetie.

I hope you don't think I'm rude, it's just this one tiny eensie thing.

See, when you come down saturday morning, and ask for a grocery list, I just assume that the list, is well, The List. We go over it together, make edits, and eventually, off you go.

I certainly don't mind that while there, you find lots of extras - "treats" as you call them. My goodness, of course you should go off list for extras.

But um, ok, that aside.

If the list says Skippy, sweetie? Get the Skippy. Please dont get something new because you think it would be fun to try, or it seems like something I'd like instead.

I know, most "Wives" would be grateful for a husband who shops. I AM grateful. but I also really just want the Skippy, ya know?
