Never a Dull / Free Moment

Good Lord, i have a million blogs in my head and nary on blog on paper (?) The sad thing is a MILLION things have happened and there is zippo documentation. Sigh.
So here's what I can shorthand.
Only one entry. The retroactive ones will have to wait.

Today is my birthday. Once upon a time someone sent around an email that asked a bunch of questions - what's your favorite color, your favorite ice cream etc. Personally, I think it's a genius ploy for password fishing (as opposed to phishing). Amywho, and don't you hate people that say that, anywho...my sister and I both answered it, and we BOTH picked the same birthday. My 19th, and her 21st. Huh? ok, almost the same day. Her birthday is in 44 minutes. But we picked the same celebration occasion. THAT birthday we both remember as being great. I remember getting balloons - from her - from a pink gorilla, and flowers from my at the time boyfriend, then going to the Big Apple Circus for the first time. Good Lord. 20 years ago.

Since then, well, I've had some memorable birthdays. There was my 25th, with all the kissing. And my 30th, when I met Paul and he had a halo (which later turned out to be the glow from a street lamp and too many draft beers)..oh, and my 31st. God I was soooo thin and SASSY that night. I can't even remember where I went but i wore a black halter and the skinny jeans and Krazy Kathy wore something similar and I'm sure somebody somewhere played Mustang Sally and Fire on the Mountain. But, overall, i can't remember one that I adored. One that I looked forward to, that I celebrated on, that I had a happy feeling about. Usually I think i was just relieved, like New Years, when they passed.

And today. The birthday that I didn't dread. The birthday that I forgot was coming. The birthday that I was neither happy nor sad about. Today came, and in four minutes will went, and it was, truly, the best birthday since that birthday 20 years ago.

and in less then 4 I have to go to ed. a promise to Doug. So I will edit later but will note so I remember and i'll update this later:
