My goodness, I feel bad. I scolded folks for not using the blog and then I see that folks had commented - and were IGNORED. How NOT refreshing. Sigh, well, like I said, I was hoping that this would be a forum for expression, to check in each day and to chat. SO although we are off to a slow start, I've been assured that folks read it so I'm going to keep it up and in time, maybe over years :o) -it will become sometnhing that we turn to if there's an issue we want to vent about.
Meanwhile, let's meet one another. If you DO read this, please post after with an intro of your own. Short and sweet is fine. So starting with each other. I'll introduce PAM:
One of the folks I was excited for everyone to meet was Pam. Pam is my old girlfriend Heather's mom and also now a friend of mine. She's just funny, and has such insight. Plus, Pam isn't always Mary Pollyana so it's nice to get some "real woman" perspective. I met Pam about 6 years ago now and we talk about most anything - me more so then she. Pam has 3 children, all older, 2 with children of their own. Her son Scott is a Commander(?) in the Air Force with a wife and 3 children(2 boys and a girl), ages 7 to 13 I believe, or thereabouts. Next is her son Shannon, the FBI agent, and for those who knew me years ago, "The man I trusted with my heart and he abused the gift" (just kidding Pam). Actually, to this day Pam stresses about mentioning Shannon in front of me. Never fear, Mommy Spoo, I am VERY happy sans Shannon and the arid climate of Lubbock Texas. Her third is Heather. Heather who has YET to figure out how to log in to this blog. Sigh. Charming and brilliant that Heather, but professes to not understand technology. I'M NOT BUYING IT!!!! Heather has 2 children - one by birth, the other by marriage, and in case there was any question, the other by marriage is an actual child, not a husband we are calling a child! All 3 of Pam's children live at the edge of the world - Scott's in CA, Shannon's in TX and Heather is in Amelia OHIO, which, according to Heather IS the end of the world. Pam is married to Dave, whom she loves, but is frustrated with his passion for computers. And tinkering for hours on them. And there's much more to Pam but that's her to start. Pam's next thing to think about? Her daughter is coming to visit with HER daughter Jordan for 10 days. Good luck Pam!

WOW! You did great remembering my three kids and their kids and only got one little thing wrong, it is the Navy not the Air Force but that is a minor detail. Thank you for your kind words, Deb. So far I have only commented on one blog you wrote and have yet to write one of my own but I will soon--maybe after my daughter and granddaughter leave as I share what it is like having a 2 and 1/2 year old here in our little condo!
