After the beep, leave information that is concrete. It's not necessary to leave a frantic message with the cryptic "Call me back please" just to ask if I received the pictures you downloaded last night.Further to that, if you want the name of the shoe store "where we got the purple crocs last fall" you can ALSO leave that as a message.
It goes something like this:
"Hi, it's me, Carla. Can you give me a call back. I'm looking for the name of the shoe store we went to last fall. The one where we got the purple crocs."
instead of:
"Hi. Its Carla" breathe heavily, frantically "I need you to call me right away. I have a question I need to ask you."
It's unnecessarily dramatic for a voicemail.
